What can you do in Koh Rong?
In addition to ultimate relaxation, Koh Rong has plenty of other activities to keep you busy for a few days! It is important to know that there are no cars on Koh Rong, which means there are hardly any walkable roads on the island. So do you want to go to another beach/village? The easiest way to do this is by boat! Or go on an adventure through the 'jungle' of Koh Rong.

Chill out at Nest Beach Club! A lovely chill place on a beautiful beach with very tasty food. Every Monday it is the Nestival, a party with BBQ and techno music. We stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed it. Not the most hygienic hostel of my trip, but there is a nice vibe. Another tip: ask the locals what day there is a party on the island. This differs from day to day.

How to get to Koh Rong?

From the city of Sihanoukville you can take a ferry from the pier. The ferries leave several times a day, but make sure you arrive here well before 5:00 PM. We were really stuck in trafficPhnom Penh, so we were just able to catch the boat. Please take this into account. Sihanoukville also has an airport.
